A New Store

The New Walmart Store on Coors and Montano

A new Walmart store with Grocery Center is planned for the intersection of Coors and Montano, in a commercial corridor running along Coors Blvd. The store will be a 98,901 square foot store, smaller than a Supercenter but larger than a neighborhood market. The new store will have all the Walmart amenities you’re used to, including fresh local produce and a garden center. The store will employ over 250 people and construction will begin after the city’s permit process is complete. The nearby Walmart stores, at Coors Bypass and Coors and I-40, are busier than we expected, so this store will take off some of the pressure, meaning less traffic and a more enjoyable shopping experience. Several new traffic improvements will be made around the store, to help provide smooth traffic flow. This new location will be a great new store for our neighborhood.
